Good looking 16.1 Bay Gelding,Irish Thoroughbred, 14 years young. Extravagant uphill paces, fabulous extended trot, established lateral work and a superb temperament to match, he is good to box, show and clip and 100% in traffic.
Having had a varied career Dexter will turn his hoof to anything. He's evented successfully in his early years and hunted. Won and participated in all R.C activities. His speciality is dressage having competed up to elementary level, and now proving he's still got the "wow factor" as a riding horse/show hack.
Dexter was pulled 2nd in the Hoys Qualifier in May at Osbaldeston in a huge line up, as best show hack/riding horse then won the "Search for a Star" best show hack at Hoy's this October.
Dexter has won various classes at local riding clubs such as:
Lakes Riding Club
Morecambe Bay R.C.
Church Farm R.C.
Myerscough
and is always in the ribbons. |

Bay Mare. Hunted/ Showjumper - won and placed at unaffiliated show with 12 yr old girl riding. Hacks out, good and sensible in all ways.
Genuine mare for sale. Very Very good jumper, Scopey and careful. snaffle mouthed. not phased by much hacking out. rides quietly on a loose rein, in fact we use to her to escort my youngster. same home for 3 yrs, spent last winter being ridden and competing in unaffiliated jumping with a 12 yr old girl. Has raced twice this summer but not fast enough. eligable for ROR classes - especially the jumping ones. good to do, a really nice sort. would suit teenager or light weight adult. Has definately got the scope to event or start BSJA with a little more work on the flat to get her working more in the correct outline. nice to have a round the yard, travels well etc. |
